Covid Stats for 07/15/20
Almost half of the US is in the red, meaning daily case growth is over 2% per day. There was a big spike in CA, both in Cases and Deaths yesterday, and it wasn’t entirely due to testing, although testing has been keeping a similar curve. Not that it matters, it’s still being spread easily.
I have dinner with my family in Boston over Facebook Messenger every Tuesday Nite and asked them what they are doing differently, as the Northeast seems to have it figured out. They just say that everyone is wearing masks. I think the biggest influence was opening sooner that was appropriate. CA succumbed to public pressure, whereas MA has not. It’s going to be a long road until they get to a vaccine….
