Covid Stats for 07/23/20

I wanted to mention that the reporting will be sporadic over the next couple of weeks as I move to San Diego and get my family and office set up there.

Texas and California are continuing to post new case numbers over 10,000 per day, in an alarming spike. After what I thought was a correction from under-reported cases two days ago, it has continued to climb with all counties reporting. The US average has steadily grown closer to 2% per day over the past two weeks also. I’m beginning to think that there might be something else to this. It doesn’t make sense that new case counts have fallen so much in the Northeast, and has grown inexplicably in the West and South. People I see are wearing masks. Although I’m not out in restaurants & bars very much, so maybe that’s where it’s spreading. It’s beyond reason.
