Covid Death Rate updates
I’ve added some trends for death rates, and found an interesting data point I’ll investigate further. It looks like there is an uptick in the average 7-day death rate about a month after an uptick in average 7-day new case rate. It’ll be interesting to see if we see an uptick in death rate over the next couple of days because the last uptick in cases were in mid-Sept.
I also found some age demographics on the CDC website, although the data is woefully inconsistent. The age data has been collected for roughly 50% of the cases. However, the heat map and trends below illustrate age groups that are expanding.
