Covid Stats for 07/06/20
Hearing alot in the news about the huge spike in California today. Drilling into it you find that 7,000 of the over 11,000 new cases reported were in Los Angeles County. Coupled with the 1,030 new cases in San Diego, it represents 85% of the new cases reported across the state. Caveat: once again, reporting is inconsistent because only 19 of 57 counties reported new cases.
Florida also had a big jump yesterday, over 11,000 cases, but since they don’t report Hospital or ICU stats, you can’t tell from this data how stressed the healthcare system is yet.
