Mum's Fish Stew
3/4 lb Haddock or Cod
Butter
  Milk
4-5 Potatoes
3/4 cup Onion
1/2 cup Half-n-Half


Saute onion in some butter in the bottom of a saucepan. Cut potatoes, put in pan and cover with water. Simmer for 15-20 minutes. Put fish on top of potatoes and steam for 10-25 minutes, until fish is flaky. Add milk, half-n-half, butter, salt and pepper. Heat and serve.
